India 2010:
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me, to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives.” Isaiah 61:1
From April 22nd-May 1st, a team of 15 will be travelling to Trivandrum, India, partnering with our brothers and sisters from the Christian Retreat Centre. The team’s main focus in Trivandrum will be holding a Vacation Bible School (VBS) for Christian, Muslim, and Hindu children.
The three day program will culminate in a Gospel presentation for the parents. Educational resources and stationary for the upcoming school year will be supplied for every child in attendance.
The team will also minister to teenagers and in various churches, encouraging the local Christians in the community, and sharing the Gospel with all who will hear. Please remember the team in your prayers, that their labours would have a tremendous impact on the unsaved and saved alike; we desire that the love of Christ be revealed to the lost and that every believer would find encouragement to continue to run the Christian race with joy.
